Tristan is the Founder and Executive Director of the Canadian AI Institute and an early adopter of Generative AI tools. Picking up on prompt engineering and no-code model training in the early development stages of generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Gemini, to name a few. Because of this, Tristan quickly adapted to adopting AI in his day-to-day.

With this knowledge, he took to consulting and training business people on implementing AI into their workflows. He built out prompting systems and GPTs to give businesses the AI edge they needed to increase their operational efficiency and make the most of generative tools.

In one session, Tristan was hit with the comment, “You really know a lot about this; why not make a course to teach more businesses how to use AI?” It was from that comment that the concept for the Canadian AI Advancement Institute was born.

Since then, Tristan founded the Canadian AI Advancement Institute to give every Canadian the opportunity to learn, adapt and succeed with AI. In his free time, Tristan sits on local committees, volunteers and spends his time planning community events, learning new tools, and staying active.
